Adding an image

  1. Login to your website.



     
  2. Go to the page where you would like to add the image.
     
  3. Place an HTML module on the page or access an existing HTML module and click on "Edit Content".




     
  4. The Text Editor will open.


     


     
  5. The editor ribbon at the top of the module contains a wide selection of tools, most of which should be familiar to you. Select the "Image" icon from the editor ribbon.

     
     
  6. The Image dialog box will pop up, which will allow you to set the size of the image, the alignment of the image, etc.

     
     
     
  7. Click the "Browse Server" button to select the image you'd like to add.



     
  8. The Image Gallery will now open. If the image is not already available on your site in the Image Gallery, you can upload the image by clicking on "Browse.." at the top right of the Image Gallery.



     
  9. Navigate to the folder on your computer that contains the image you would like to add and click it. The name of the file you are uploading will now be highlighted in the box to the left of the "Browse.." button Now click on "Upload New File" at the top right of the Image Gallery to add the image to your website. Once uploaded, simply click on the file in the Image Gallery to add it to the Image Properties dialog box and click "OK". Note that images can also be added to table cells using the procedure above. Just click within the cell and then click the image icon in the editor ribbon.

     
  10. If you would like to preview how the image you've entered will be displayed prior to publishing it on the site, click Preview below the editor window.



     
  11. When you are ready to make the content live that you just added, press the Update button in the bottom left of your page.
