Law Enforcement Agencies... Let us help you build your Crime Watch Program!
LinkingCommunities is a web-based communication bridge uniting parents, neighbors, schools, and law enforcement agencies, allowing them to better oversee, protect and rescue children from predators.
LinkingCommunities provides a complete Content Management System (CMS) with all of the functionality necessary to create, deploy, and manage your Crime Watch Program. Just imagine having one place online where your block captains and coordinators can come together 24/7, to share information, request information or training,
get and post answers to questions and much more. As the administrator of this site, you will be able to manage all the content, update the information in real-time, send email notifications, and manage your volunteers quickly and effectively.
With the Multi-Level CMS for Law Enforcement, your agency will get a custom designed web site (portal) packed full of all the features you need to build your online community. Each Crime Watch Group can then have their own CMS website, which they build and manage, fully integrated with yours.
A key component of your Law Enforcement Multi-Level CMS is the ability to share any of the information (calendar, documents, training materials, safety tips, alerts, news etc.) on your website instantly on each and every Crime Watch website associated with your agency. This information is transmitted automatically via a dedicated "Crime Watch" page located on the individual Crime Watch websites, and is refreshed every time you update the information on your Multi-Level CMS.
One of the many features that comes with each and every website is our AlertCentral module. This LinkingCommunities developed web application allows citizens to search, post and register for crime alerts by zip code, city, county or even state wide. Each citizen manages his/her own information (how they want to receive the alerts, types of alerts and frequency) all from one central place. When a citizen, business, or school posts an alert, it is sent to the crime prevention officer (or any other designated person(s) in that locality for approval. Once approved, the alert is posted on the Alert Map for searching and reporting. The alert is also sent to all subscribers via email.
